Fairview is hosting a high line ropes class. The class constructed two wooden A frames and tensioned them off the back of tanker 34. The class is intended to teach crews how to place a high line across a ravine to rescue injured patients in rough terrain.

Fairview Fire & Rescue is hosting a advanced ropes class. This Saturday we practiced high angle rappelling at the training tower. The instruction provided by Chris Rufert and David Gersdorff. Alot of great training and practice was had.

Fairview Fire & Rescue was able to acquire a structure to burn for training. The opportunity to burn a structure in an controlled environment is rare. It is a great real life training to prepare for an actually incident. Unionville FD and New Salem also participated.

Fairview was fortunately to acquire a extremely well built residential structure to conduct live fire training in. Station 3 first responders were dispatched to a traumatic injury. Personnel arrived on the scene and requested Med Center Air for air transport. E-31 provided protection for the landing zone.
