Fairview was lucky enough to get a car to practice vehicle extrication on. This type training is great and gives the newer members the chance to learn and operate the tools in a controlled environment

Brush 36 was requested by station 23 to assist with a woods and grass fire. B-36 entered the wooded area to extinguish the flames and had to fight the mud to even get back out. What ever it takes to preform the job !

Asst.Chief Williams along with firefighters Price & Long are mounting equipment on the new E-30 to get it into service. This activity takes awhile to get everything arranged and mounted properly.

Early Sunday morning station 3 was dispatched to a MVC at the intersection of Hwy 218 E & Sikes Mill Rd. Units arrived to find a single vehicle with damage to the front hood area. The driver said they hit a deer. There were no injuries

Station 3 was dispatched to a vehicle fire on Hwy 218 W in the 1800 Blk. Chief 300 arrived on scene and advised of a truck on fire and assumed command. E-30 arrived and the fire was extinguished quickly. E-31 arrived and provided water. No injuries were involved.
