Fairview was lucky enough to get a car to practice vehicle extrication on. This type training is great and gives the newer members the chance to learn and operate the tools in a controlled environment

Brush 36 was requested by station 23 to assist with a woods and grass fire. B-36 entered the wooded area to extinguish the flames and had to fight the mud to even get back out. What ever it takes to preform the job !

Fairview's own Assistant Chief Andy Williams was voted "HERO of the MONTH" of Union County in November 2015 by WIXE radio and Servpro of Union County. Asst. Chief Williams was presented a plaque at our Board of Directors meeting on 3/3/2016. Congratulations Chief Andy Williams

Asst.Chief Williams along with firefighters Price & Long are mounting equipment on the new E-30 to get it into service. This activity takes awhile to get everything arranged and mounted properly.

Early Sunday morning station 3 was dispatched to a MVC at the intersection of Hwy 218 E & Sikes Mill Rd. Units arrived to find a single vehicle with damage to the front hood area. The driver said they hit a deer. There were no injuries

Station 3 was dispatched to a vehicle fire on Hwy 218 W in the 1800 Blk. Chief 300 arrived on scene and advised of a truck on fire and assumed command. E-30 arrived and the fire was extinguished quickly. E-31 arrived and provided water. No injuries were involved.

Mid afternoon Chief McBryde drove up on a MVC that had just occurred. Station was dispatched to the 900 block of Hwy 218 E. E-30 and R-3 arrived and assisted with vehicle stabilization and patient care. One was transported by Union EMS.

Station 3 was dispatched to a 10-50 in the 2200 blk of Hwy 218 E. Asst. Chief Williams arrived on the scene and advised of a single vehicle with two patients. Chief McBryde arrived and assumed command. Union EMS treated and transported two patients.

Rescue 3 was dispatched to a pin-in in the 9000 blk of Morgan Mill Rd. to assist station 5. Station 5 crews arrived on the scene and advised no pin-in. Rescue 3 continued in for lights.
