Fairview Fire & Rescue was able to acquire a structure to burn for training. The opportunity to burn a structure in an controlled environment is rare. It is a great real life training to prepare for an actually incident. Unionville FD and New Salem also participated.

The bridge on Hwy 218 W. is officially open. The bridge work has been a huge inconvenience but will be nice now that it is done. The only drawback is all the tractor trailers will be back.

Sta.3 was once again sent to Hwy 218 for a vehicle accident. This time at Concord Hwy & Hwy 218. A car struck a flat tow behind trailer resulting in heavy damage and one sent to the hospital via Union EMS.

Fairview was dispatched to a overturned vehicle on Concord Hwy. Chief McBryde arrived on the scene and advice of a single vehicle event with one overturned. No injuries to the one occupant. Fairview cleared the scene after Law Enforcement arrived.

Snow started falling early Tuesday morning resulting in several vehicular accidents. This one was on Brief Rd. Sent one to the hospital.

Fairview community was getting snow making the roadways slick and causing a couple vehicle accidents. Hwy 218 W. accounted for two of them including this one at Hwy 218 & Berry Mullis Rd. The vehicle slipped off the road and struck a power pole.
